With windows on three sides, the Oscar Wilde Room is filled with sunlight and wonderful summer cross-breezes. In the warmer seasons, the windows are draped in leafy wisteria, and there is a perfect view of Provincetown's Pilgrim Monument. Larger than our inn's standard rooms, the Oscar Wilde Room is one of our most popular rooms. It features a queen-size bed, vaulted ceiling and semi-private balcony. If you're interested in accommodations that are a little more intimate than those in a traditional bed and breakfast, try the Henry David Thoreau Cottage. This private cottage is located adjacent to our garden patio, separate from the rest of the bed and breakfast. It features a queen-size bed and a comfortable sitting area with fireplace and down sofa. The Henry David Thoreau Cottage also features a two-person Jacuzzi tub and a private patio area with a mini-garden and fountain, making it perfect for a romantic weekend. Every morning, our "family-size" dining table is laid out with Jurgen's famous homemade German-style breakfast, making it perfect meeting point for all guests who like a good cup of coffee and a nice chat with friendly people. Described by Out and About as "Classic American gourmet meets German bounty", our breakfast table is laid out with ample amounts of homemade breads, bagels, croissant, muffins, cakes, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, jams, cold cuts such as Prosciutto and cheese, orange juice, fresh Carpe Diem Coffee and a wide variety of teas. On weekends Jurgen prepares breakfast highlights such as German bread, Belgian waffles, pancakes, quiche, omelets, frittata or other special treats.
