A combination of rich wallpaper and sand colored walls, cherry wood furniture and its overall florid style make this
room the one that is the most typical for a "New England" guesthouse. Located on the west side of the main house, it
remains shadier in the mornings, perfect for those who feel like sleeping in a bit.
Rainer-Maria Rilke is considered one of the greatest lyric poets of modern Germany. Rilke created the "object poem", attempting to describe physical objects with the utmost clarity. He became famous with Duineser Elegien and Die Sonette An Orpheus, both published in 1923.
