The summer has been wonderful here in Provincetown with fantastic weather and a town full of activity, with new restaurants and shops galore.  One of our guests' favorite places to stay at Carpe Diem has been the newly renovated Henry David Thoreau cottage, which received a full renovation (bathroom, interior, a new king-sized bed), as well as an expanded private outdoor space with seating area, table and chairs and an outdoor shower.

We are enjoying a busy winter season, both at the guest house and at the spa, but we have taken advantage of the off season to make some upgrades here at Carpe Diem.  The Henry David Thoreau Cottage is nearly finished with a complete renovation, redecoration and an entirely new and luxurious bathroom.  We can't wait to post the pictures of this new and inviting space.  We are also halfway through the upgrade of all of our rooms in the Main House, and will begin posting pictures of the warm yet sophisticated results of our work during the month of January.  These are exciting times at Carpe
