COVID-19 Concerns

Carpe Diem is taking bookings for 2021!

As you all know the situation regarding COVID is rapidly evolving with the distribution of the vaccines well underway.  Our offerings at the inn will change as those good developments accelerate, and we are excited to be welcoming guests to Carpe Diem Guesthouse!  2021 is here and many of you are beginning to think about vacations and getaways.  We want to let you know we are providing a safe and comfortable way to join us. Carpe Diem offers an escape with our beautiful outdoor spaces private from the outside world, and of course all the beaches and wild spaces of Provincetown are open for you to explore.

New guidelines have allowed us to once again offer full room service, if you want it (you are free to opt out if you choose).  We will still be offering fresh towels if you desire even if you opt out.

Of our eighteen rooms, ten have outdoor private entrances and sitting areas, for those who prefer that, and our other rooms can use our Zen courtyard for relaxation.  Our Henry David Thoreau Cottage has been booking heavily, but other rooms with outdoor space that have been popular have been Raj Rao, Robert Frost, Oscar Wilde, and the Jean Cocteau Garden Room.

Restaurants will again be offering a mix of indoor and outdoor seating.  This worked so wonderfully in 2020 that it is becoming a Provincetown tradition!

Outdoor yoga and spin classes are being offered at the Crowne & Anchor and at the Boatslip.

For those of you who love a cocktail, several places are all set up with outdoor space to enjoy the beverage of your choice.  Crown & Anchor, The Boatslip, The Club, Aqua Bar, and Shipwreck Lounge are all reconfigured with outdoor spaces.  Other watering holes will be receiving new guidance for the summer as the situation improves.

It's a new year in Provincetown and we are all excited looking forward to greater normalcy as the year progresses, while we will still provide a safe haven here at Carpe Diem.  And, of course, all the natural beauty of Provincetown has always been open to all.
